Thank you. I didn't design it, I wish I had though :o) I bought the quilt pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop and only used 4 of the applique panels to keep it down to the right size. The pattern is called Whimsy Playground by Crazy Old Ladies.

Thank you, I really enjoyed making this wall quilt and means a lot to know that you like it. I'm glad it made it to you quickly. The peanuts are from my favourite peanut vendor in Kingaroy, I was on holiday near there when I finished off the quilt and thought it might be nice to send some with the quilt.

I have heard so many arguments for and against washing. I think it's nice to remove the chemicals and make sure it's not going to run or shrink etc, but like you said, if it's good quality then I don't think it makes much difference.

Can't wait to see what you make!

I don't think I'll bother washing them anymore, I was having a discussion with the ladies in the local quilt shop the other day and they said that with the quality of fabrics we have now there's no real use in washing fabric unless it's coloured and you are worried it will run. And yes, I do love new fabric, its hard cutting into it at first but then you can wait to see the pretties it makes :o)

Oh aren't you a good girl, washing them before you use them? I used to...but I don't really anymore unless I'll be quilting with them.

Don't you just love new fabric? :D

I was happy to do it and that quilt is what cured my sewing drought so I should be thanking her :o) I really enjoyed making it and it was really hard to let it go, one day when I don't have as much to get done I might sit down and make a smaller one for myself for my wall. As for the slackness, that's ok, I haven't been out and about all that much lately either, I've become a bit of a recluse lately and only really leave the house to buy food and fabric.
